Lura Jane Williams Geiger was born in Jones County, NC on June 4, 1908. She worked as a domestic after relocating to Beulaville, NC. Lura or "Lula" as she was affectionately known, raised her six children, while also working as a domestic. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She died on October 4, 1994, in Kenansville, NC.

Scattered Shop was launched as a way to honor her and the wisdom of our ancestors.

How sweet it is to remember. The smells; the sight; the laughter; the touch of our ancestors. This ancestral remembrance kit provides you with some of the primary elements used to evoke the guidance and presence of those who have gone before us. Each kit includes: 

•White Sage Smudge Stick

•Hand-poured "Sweet Memories" Candle. Poured with love and infused with the rich scent of lavender. 

•Handmade 4x6 picture frame, crafted using paper fiber from wild indigenous and replenishable plants. Made in Zimbabwe. Paper is acid-free, tree-free, lignin free, and pH neutral.

Picture frame measures 8" x 9.5". Window is 3.5" x 5". Holds a 4x6 picture.
